So your trying to get a new replacement tire, for a used tire that has less tread life ? Fair is fair, measure how much 32’s you have left on your damage tire and go find something equivalent to what you have. If that damage tire is an original (no recap), I would probably flip towards the inside where it can’t be seen and pocket the money. Keep the customer happy and don’t let him feel your taking him for a ride. Not smart business savvy.

Bet if you put a slice on his car tire like that it would be a whole different story
Ask him if you can do that and if he says no then ask him why it is ok for it to happen to your tire. Pretty much catch him in a no-win situation and push him into a corner.PE_T Thanks this. -
