Not sure if this is posted in the right place or not but... Where can I get a tire Gauge that won't break on me ? I've gone though probably 20 or so in the last 3 years! I check 2 trailers a day and none of the t/s or auto parts store ones last long. My company has 1700 tlr to 300 truck operation but the trls are all recaps and 3 years ago I got sick of 1 to 2 blow outs a week and started checking all the loaded ones and have had no problems but the dam gauges are killing me at 15 to 20 bucks a pop. Thanks

I don't know how good they would be but I'd check Sears. They have them for $8.93. Or any big tire place. I believe you're going to get the same type of quality anywhere you go.

    that Snap-On gauge is $105.95!

No way, no how would I ever spend that kind of money.

I personally have one that I got at a truck stop. It is not a Barjan brand either, I think Tire-flate (or True-Flate)? I cannot remember the cost, but it is somewhat heavy and made in the USA.

I have the typical one like this, only the handle portion has a yellow rubber coating on it.

and since you are buying this for your job, save the receipts for tax time, as it is a work related expense.

Since you're spending that much on 20 gauges and none last why not spend more for one and get your money's worth.Stay away from trk stops though all their stuff is cheaply made and over priced. What about a trk dealer, they sell everything else for trks and trls.Bet they'll have just what you're looking for.

Yeah but take that t/s brand one and use it a lot and you'll be in my boat. 100 bucks is high but I've spent more than that. I'm just worried the 100 buck one will be a p o s too.

that's actually the one that I have as well, only I was going for the over all picture with the "key ring" on it. But I also have used that other one just as easily, with never any problems reaching the inside tire valve stem. The problems I have is that the valve stem caps are so dam tight, sometimes I need to get a small pair of pliers in there and loosen those caps.
