Out of a few months here I avg a guess of 2300 a week...a few weeks of just under 2000 due to shippers or a dispatcher or 2 or a combo. Unless a bad breakdown home every weekend. There is no regional no matter what you apply for. Mostly 31 States and I guess since it's a few hours away from me I get alot of Atlanta and through Atlanta. Though running North today then through Chicago.

I worked for TMC for 5 months before I left to go to PGT. I enjoyed my time with TMC, your fleet manager will need to time see how you drive to make sure you can be trusted with the long more expensive loads. I made an average of about $1000 a week after taxes. I was on percentage pay, and did the math for the mileage side of the loads. In all honesty, youll make more on percentage regardless what company your with. Specially if your in flatbed. It is true that your fleet manager can make or break you. Thats why its on you to make sure if you dont like your fleet manager, you need to voice your concerns. They will not hesitate to get you a new one asap. I left TMC due to my fleet manager pushing me to become a trainer and I dont believe anyone less than 5 yrs should be training. If you enjoy your current job than why leave? TMC will require a lot of hard work, and a lot of dedication to keeping your truck clean and looking good because with TMC its all about image.

Its good to see some good honest reviews of TMC and other companies on here. I still hear so much bad about TMC, Maveric, Melton and wonder to myself, when the time comes for me to jump back in the saddle, if there is a good company anymore. After reading many different stories and talking to fellow drivers on the road, it appears to me that drivers make what they will of a company past the dispatch. By this, I mean, if you like flatbed then you LOVE it, if not then you hate it. I rarely see anyone who is on the fence about it and for this reason alone, I am going to get into flat bed if i ever have to get back in the saddle again. OP, I wish you luck in your ventures driver. Hope you get what you are looking for, and I hope it makes you happier than you are in current situation.

Hey y'all, I'm considering going with TMC.
I have a little over 2 years of driving experience but
It's with dry van and reefer. I understand that TMC
Trains but do they have very many female trainers, if any at all? I can't seem to get a clear answer and I'm married and don't want to ride around with another man. Any info on this would sure help. Thanks y'all! -
Is now a decent time to get on with tmc or any flat bed company for that matter? Looking to gain some experience and make some pretty decent money while oilfield is down. Thanks!
