I have a question regarding the training of a student during the TnT phase as a trainer. I was thinking of doing this and wanted to know what options I have if I have a student on the truck and I want to go home to my state of residency for R/R for 3-4 days. Will I drop them off at the closest terminal or do I have to pay for there hotel room while I take my R/R?
Since I live in Socal this be something I would like to due and I am a L/O be nice for revenue and I have 3 yrs of base experience.

He does not have to go home if he doesn't want to. You are responsible for a certain portion of his garaunteed weekly pay and his hotel room if you choose to go home and he doesn't. As to whether its 100 percent responsible or some other percentage I can't recall...
Dropping him off at the terminal does not count as home time for him, and you will still have your financial responsibilities to the trainee.Skydivedavec Thanks this. -
If training (TNT) doesn't work out,
try recruiting (referral money).
Pays more, without the hassle of a truckmate.
Enjoy !!

When I TNT when I feel he is ready for his own truck. I have fm send me home and the TNT takes the truck for one or two weeks. They have to have been out at least 25000 miles and like I said they need to be at the point they r ready for their own truck.
