I got hired on with A&R logistics almost two months ago. I thought everything was going well and apparently management didn't like me too much. I was accused of urinating at a rail yard in Chattanooga Tennessee which I absolutely did not do. I didn't argue with them, I just cleared my truck out and left. I'm really bummed out cuz I've never been fired before.

I didn't think I would like pneumatic tanker over liquid but I actually do but I don't know of any other companies that will hire me with my experience. as of today I got just a little over nine months experience. any other suggestions I would greatly appreciate.

Sorry to hear that,of the dozens of jobs, I never got fired, by not arguing, you kind of admitted your guilt. I'd want proof of that. Now it looks bad, sorry.

proof that I pissed at the railyard? I told the terminal manager that was absolutely ridiculous I didn't do that. he told me he would believe somebody that he's known for years that works there over a new employee. I was pretty surprised. I think the terminal manager just didn't like me.

You bet I'd want proof. The "he doesn't like me" doesn't fly these days, especially a big company like A&R. Something isn't right.

So what about pissing in their yard. Do you think their workers don't do it? Do they run all the way back to the building if they have to go? I think this was just an excuse to get rid of you.

should have asked for either a video or pics. and if nothing could be produced, then it DID NOT HAPPEN

move onto another place, if asked why you are gone, just say something like, "difference of opinions"...not "the boss did not like me".

getting fired can be the best thing at times, you break free of the tyrant in charge.

good luck at your next job interview, DO NOT WAIT long to apply for another job..!!!!

this company they gossip and the employees snitch on each other not really my ideal place for a job. it works for others. guys has been working there for a long time. my experience with that terminal in Atlanta was a lot of old guys that refuse to sleep out of their truck that want to do local work. their equipment is pretty worn down too. I'm not going to sit there and bash the company but how I was let go was pretty ridiculous. I have bills like everybody else and kids now I've got to go through all this hiring process again.

the terminal manager claims that this railyard was a food grade facility and someone visually seen me whip it out and piss which was absolutely untrue. apparently if you urinate add a rail yard that so happens to have food grade product you can't urinate or some BS

I wouldn’t let ANYONE impugn my integrity. Ever. Standing up for yourself sometimes leads to unfortunate outcomes. At least you could have left with your head held high. I hope you’re back on the road sooner rather than later.

I made it very clear that I didn't do that BS... stood up for myself but I'm not going to sit there and argue with somebody because if I do I'll wind up in handcuffs. apparently the guy that recruited me is not well-liked at the Atlanta terminal at all and the terminal manager didn't like me solely because I was associated with this individual that I never even met personally. I met him on a trucking group on Facebook. this is just gossip crap that's unprofessional.
