CB report saved me,Most vividly back (95?) when I was I44EB and told to stop by westbounder.I stopped and witnessed a very dark storm,Then proceeded and was informed to detour(Tulsa) via 75N and cut back east to I44.I had planned to stop at Bruces T/S in Catoosa.They(T/S) had a driver and a waitress killed by this bad one.Place was a disaster, ect.Trucks on the ends of rows took brunt force(they my still have? photos there posted and a headstone). These nitetime twisters are wicked.Daytime listen to radios.Watch for funnel clouds dropping outa clouds. They look like (tapperd) white icicles. When they hit ground they kink and turn dirty colored.I would probably stay inside the truck if loaded.I would(time permitting)crawll into a culvert.Truckstops have a area (usually the showers)inside designated shelter.nuff said.
