Thanks man I cant take credit for that My dad did the paint job and everything. Brought her back to almost factory new. Only thing left to do is the rears but there still fine. Inframe and old school double over 13 less than 100k ago. That's the one im in. My dad's in 99 ch set forward axle

I'm sure there's people who've hit 6.5 or 7, I don't think it's an average you can plan anything on. I saw 7 with mine, once, with a good tailwind, and I write it off as an outlier, figure I screwed up in my calculations somewhere.Rideandrepair and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

Thats true, and a '98 wont have to run ElogsRideandrepair and OldeSkool Thank this.

Depends mostly on gearing. On the 93 we run 22.5 lo pro with 3.91s and .62 od to get 1400 at 65/ the 99 has 11r24.5 w/4.42 1600 65 and we avg low 6s with that setup but thats 11.9L compared to 14.6Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Yea mines a 14.6, it doesn't set any mileage records pulling my hopper. Now a light flatbed with low loads and 3.36s instead of my 3.55s it might do 7, I wouldn't count on it when finding loads though.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Bet that dealer already has 10 guys in line waiting to buy a great used truck like that.Rideandrepair, AModelCat and rachi Thank this.
