That’s the same manual I used. It has all the info needed. Really not as complicated as it seems. The only tricky part is the direction of module,I missed that first time, and replaced sensor wire on the wrong side.

When I am in doubt if I have the right one or not I unplug the one I think it is and Repower the system.
If it doesn’t set a new code for a different area I know I am on the right track.

Lol, that’s so simple! Never thought of that! I not only replaced a perfectly good sensor, wire also. Ended up being the wire on other side. I’ll remember that Trick.

It comes from my Auto repair background.
And let’s just say I learned it the hard way in my younger years lol.
I have used the trick to identify the position of a bad oxygen sensors on cars before.
Some cars can have up to six oxygen sensors on them and the scanner terminology of position can be a little confusing sometimes as far as sensor location goes.
I have found this to be a very accurate method to pin point and diagnose correctly.

It's not my ABS light, it's the ABS trailer light on the dash. Is lights up as ABS and shows a trailer on the right side of the dash. As of now, it's gone out. But every once in awhile, it comes back on and stays on for a couple days. All of your ideas and help have been great. Thank you all for your time to reply. As for the trailers i use, there containers on a chassis. I use multiple different chasses. I work alot with the ports. I'm new to thus industry (7months) so I'm trying to stay on top of anything i can with my Rig.

That just tells you that the trailer has a problem. Older Trailers don’t all communicate with the Truck, my 2000 Truck has an abs Trailer light, but my 08 Trailer doesn’t communicate with the Truck, it only has the left rear light on trailer, that comes on if there’s a problem. A newer Trailer would send a signal to the Cab, my guess is it’s more a trailer/ Chassis problem, not a Truck problem, unless it comes on Bobtailing.

That makes sense, but it comes on with a chassis and tends to stay on when it's unhooked. After a day or two, it'll go off. It's off now, but next time it comes on, I'll try to post a picture. Thanks

My current truck had an ABS dash light issue. I had to take it to dealer to get fixed.
The mechanic found 15 probe holes in the wires coming out of ABS module in truck.
Previous mechanic caused the problem. The wires were corroded and causing false readings.

What make/ model truck do you have?
My truck has an ABS module under the sleeper bunk.

Check ur electrical connector . I was having some problems with abs trailer coming on and my electrical connecter was shorting out. I turn on left turn signal and all my lights was blinking. A new pig tail and connector where u plug into on trailer fixed it.

I'll check the connectors and make sure they're not damaged. They're only about 6 months old. I replaced them when i bought the truck. Works fine with some chasses, and with others i get the light. As for what truck i bought, it's a 2015 Prostar+ with a Cummins ISX15 smart torque. I'll check all the options you've all suggested. Truck runs fine overall. I just tend to pay attention to anything out of the ordinary to keep this Rig going for as long as i can. I'll also try to run the pre-installed diagnostics tester when it stays on to see if it pops a code.
