Trailer breaking problem

This is a common problem, I noticed on my current trailer that when the air ride gets out of whack, and is set too high, it happens. My last Trailer would do it occasionally, even after replacing the ecu abs module. I found that if I stabbed the brakes hard, it would somehow reset it, and wouldn’t do it. Never did figure out why. It’s dangerous in rain or snow, while empty. Good Luck.

 

Exactly what my trailer does.
All trailer brake components were replaced, All valves were replaced. Nothing helps.
Noticed when trailer ABC released rig has no brake or really weak. I mean truck braking is close to zero. Couldn't say about all makes but my Volvo has Bendix system with proportional braking. The system sensing pressure in rear airbags to determine is truck loaded or bobtail and valve distribute air pressure between trailer and truck to prevent jack knifing. Truck brake shoes were replaced 4 years ago and almost no wear. Trailer brakes were replaced every year due to wear.
I have 3 or 4 inspection with no problem regarding brakes.
Bobtail truck brake is OK.
No any codes on truck or trailer ABS but initial chaff (when you turn ignition on ABS start checking valves) not every time the same. Sometime it's full - front left, front right, rears, ATC but sometime just one psssh without clicking.
Looking for someone with good trailer to take his trailer for test drive.
