    Check your trailer frame, cross members, gussets, and any previous repairs for cracking. Check the area where your winches are mounted also.
    Check the airlines, especially between the axles, for cracking and rub marks.

    A quick look at the backsides of tires often, looking for leaking wheel seals. A good look from the backside when greasing, for damp seals, before they blow. And of course checking the oil levels, by pulling the plug, or visually, depending on the type. Always replacing seals, when doing brakes, should avoid most problems. The potential disaster of a wheel running dry, should be avoided, at all costs. It’s a very easy thing to check.
