Here is a picture of the 20AC hooked to my F-350, the RAM would be similar, there's about 6 inches clearance from top of the tailgate to bottom of the I-beams. Notice the damage to top of tailgate, also if there are front 'flips' on the trailer they need to be high enough so they won't cause damage to the truck roof, notice damage to roof. Couple of expensive lessons here.
