If a situation ever arose where y'all felt justified to shoot someone threatening your well-being, statements like those could prove to be detrimental to your freedom.

    Hmmmmm ---
    Alcohol and firearms?
As long as you weren't the one who emptied (consumed) the contents.
Although, I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find a designated drinker who
had no interest in shooting firearms it'd be do-able, as long as the D.D.
didn't wander into the tumbleweeds downrange to relieve their
    bladder pressure.

As for potential customers, I'm not sure those who carry are anxious to let that information be known.
As for the 50 foot distance, --- sounds about within the distance one would expect to feel their life is in danger. Any farther might indicate a retreat, a time to hold your fire. Someone 50 yards away? Unless they're drawing a bead on y'all, I'm thinkin' it'd be harder to justify a clean shoot at that distance. A jury of 12 anti-gun nutz would drool at the chance to render a guilty verdict, proving (in their mind) that all guns are good for is killin' people.
