I just got off the phone with a recruiter from Transland/TCSI based out of Springfield, MO. Told me a lot of good things that I believe fairly well due to some recommendations from some other drivers. Has anyone else heard anything good or bad about this company?
I will be giving them the first job app. when I get out of school.

What was the recruiters name? I would not go to work for them the pay is one of the lowest in springfield..Also all those incentives your recuriter talks about, are based on miles that you run..If you are a new truck drivers, they will not train you real well. Then once you get your own company truck, you will do alot of sitting between loads. Also you cannot do your logs correctly and make money. I did not find the company very friendly, nor did the other departments work together. There are other companies you can go to!!!!!!! KEEP LOOKING

If you choose not to goto Transland you will be making a HUGE mistake. I have driven for them twice..I left the first time because of a divorce..the second time to help a friend in need..I regret leaving..This company truly cares about its drivers, they get you home, they get you the miles, they are a small company and know you by name not by your truck number. If you have a concern they address it. Communication in this company is the best I have ever experienced..Equipment, top of the line for the job your doing...Shop personnel concerned with keeping you on the road..Retreads? LMAO..no maypops on the tractors or trailers..Pay? Excellent, they keep your wheels turning, which in turn puts money in your pocket. A customer base they have been serving for years so you will be seeing the same shippers and receivers consistently. Transland gives you their best and in return expects the best from you..this includes safety, consistency and dedication..If they will take me back, I will be rejoining them soon..best of luck in your new career. Tell Marti in recruiting Jeff Simmons sent ya... :)

Well Jeff I did decide with them out of three companies in springfield and one in joplin. I start Transland on the 14th along with a classmate who also chose them. They put a hiring freeze on students but made exceptions with us due to our good work history and OTC is highly recommended. Plus one of our intstructors used to drive for them and even took us by there to look around the day after we had the tour of Prime. Thanks for your comments and maybe we will see you down the road. BTW I heard they are definetly looking for drivers for their skateboards.

Safety, consistency, and dedication is what I plan to do with anyone I drive for, So I am glad that's what they want.

I wish you luck with Transland...I do not remeber all of those things happening like Jeff said. .Just remeber when you are with a trainer ask a lot of questions. Good Luck..I hope you get the miles ect..Did they explain the pay procedure? Also driving a truck in school is alot different then driving to the East Coast, ect...
    Good LUCk
