You would have to decode those numbers.RTO used to mean twin countershaft overdrive,1258,1490,or the next four numbers used to mean input torque rating, you're going up or stronger,so that shouldn't be an issue.LL used to mean low, low, first. Not sure about that M,might indicate where the shift tower location is.Again, get it decoded,I'm just going on my feeble old memory.Dig around on the internet,I'm sure you'll find it somewhere.
Naturally you should check the headshaft size and splines, rear yoke size, and trans length,so you don't have to shorten or lengthen your driveshaft. -
I thank so. You want the bellhousing with it. Have to have a top with the correct shift tower location, yours won't swap. Mechanical or electronic speedo change could be a small problem. If you have the correct yoke it should bolt up to your driveshaft. Not sure about the m either. Search Eaton Fuller or Roadranger transmission ratios.

They should interchange, speedo may be only issue. The mll has a 20 to 1 reverse and about 25 to 1 low gear, with the rest about identical to the 8ll. Oder ratio would be the same. The 9ll you split low and first gear
