    I found an HMI service bulletin for programming version r24 ...I have version 28...they similar in programming technique, but my 28 has a couple of additional settings.
    That being said when I talked to a TK technician he said that you don't have the option of having it come back on in the same mode that it shut off at. You have to go back in the bunk and manually start it to what you need.
    He said it's not that smart.

    for what its worth this is what I've been able to dig up on the programming the older tripac HMI

    Programming Steps at the HMI Controller (r24)

    Press the Main Power On/Off Key to On.
    Press the Up Arrow Key and Down Arrow Key simultaneously to access the Program Codes.
    Press the Mode Key to advance through the Program Codes (the arrows below indicate the sequence of the Program Codes)
    Press the Up Arrow Key or Down Arrow Key to view the Program Selections for a specific Program Code.
    Press the Fan Speed Key to save a Program Selection. As required, press the Mode Key to escape from a Program Selection without saving it.
    After all Program Codes are reviewed, press the Mode Key to return to the PPP Program Code.
    Press the Fan Speed Key to save all of the desired Program Selections.

    [PPP] Program Mode
    cXX = Controller
    configuration (c01) rXX = Software
    revision number

    [ctd] Controller Temperature Display
    cts = Control Temperature Sensor
    SPt = Setpoint
    dbg = Debug
    OFF = Off (unless setpoint changed)

    I Don’t know what manual is everyone talking about! Manual is not going to tell anything If anyone is interested just let me know and I will post instructions here on how to run the diagnostic software that’s already integrated in the main box. All you need is windows 7 with 32 bit or it won’t work. Here you could even change all your settings or look at all sensors including alternator voltage.
