Everything was working fine when I bought the truck 4 months ago. (although I never really used the A/C so far since there was no need)
I replaced all the filters and oil and now its not working.
First it would work but a yellow triangle would pop up. Now all of the sudden it works for a minute and it turns off with a red triangle and ENG errors.
So what could be the cause?
1. Low freon? Does the Tripac Evolution have its own freon or does it use it from the truck? Truck is full of freon.
2. Fuel filter needs more diesel? It's not priming how it should?
3. Fuses? I checked all the fuses and only one doesn't work:
F17 2amp GROUND fuse. Could that be a problem? Replace it?
Any other things that I should look at or do to make it work as it should?

Just tried it, same thing with heat. Works for a few minutes and then it shuts off with the red triangle/ENGtruckdriver31 Thanks this.

Can having too much oil in the APU cause this?
truckdriver31 Thanks this. -
Don't think so.
Not enough oil or low oil pressure, low coolant, low voltage, low fuel pressure. Outside of those could be a short or bad sensor giving a faulty reading.
There is a filter at the bottom right, it's in the fuel line, screen type that a lot of places don't know to clean unless it's a TK dealer.
If you haven't yet, turn off the switch on the APU, then turn off the control panel, wait 15 minutes then turn the switch on, then the control panel.truckdriver31, Dave_in_AZ and stwik Thank this. -
Low voltage disconnect always pops up on my truck dash display for a few seconds when I turn the APU on, is that normal?
Would changing the 2amp fuse that is dead change anything?
Will try turning off and turning on after some timeLast edited: Jun 7, 2020

Mine used to do the same...I took it apart from the top cover to the button plate/cover i found that after the seven hundred Plus dollars I paid Thermoking in Michigan the the tech was incompetent the fuel line (Output) was broke And the belt was cut and chewed up because it was off track. I bought the fuel line from TA $2 per foot I always carry an extra belt Fuel and Oil filter those parts are not expensive I reset my belt and output fuel line and everything worked fine. I have to look at my receipt to post the name of the bad Thermoking in Michigan.PoleCrusher, truckdriver31, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this.

Bad Thermoking in Michigan is in Byron Center, MI don’t fix anything there...They billes me $767.74 for incompétence. Lesson learned now I service my own APU.
Parts
Belt Engin $37
Oil filter $14
Fuel filter $23
Belt Water $21
I use use 15w40 oil
And everything work very goodtruckdriver31, Snailexpress, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this. -
I dont know about evolution but old model would have this issue if onwe of wire was cut near switch inside of engine box... or if that switch is bad. I am talking about on off switch near engine

Thermoking is so expensive its laughable. I wont dare set foot in there unless its needed. So you’re saying I should look at the fuel line? How will I know its bad? What about the fuel pump, could that be an issue as well?truckdriver31 and D.Tibbitt Thank this.
