1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

because the schools were found to be inadaquilty training them and pushing them through the tests. This is why the school in Memphis was raided last year and shut down for a long time

I heard that it wasn't just Swift. A former co-driver of mine had a TN CDL and had heard there were issues with his school as well.

True Volunteer was one of them. Every school in middle TN has lost their 3rd party testing certifications. That is except for TN Tech.

DMV was following them and they weren't doing the driving test properly. They got busted.

Volunteer has closed. They are going to reopen, maybe as United?

No kidding , Volunteer closed ? :biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559: After this article ran I emailed the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce and told them the school was making fraudulent statements using 3 year old statistical data showing driver shortage that no longer existed .
Here is the article they quoted . It was written in 2005 .

Whenever someone describes someone as a "good christian man", it makes me want to run away.
I have worked for companies ran by "good christian" men. They screwed me more than the overt criminals I worked for.

Wasn't Jim Jones a "good christian man"?
    How about David Koresh?
