Trucker Shutdown?

    I've read several blogs that say a shutdown will occur on April 1 - others say 1 May. They say they are trying to get some more attention on the price of fuel and possibly relief from the fed tax. The cattle haulers site says they have been contacted by Senator Clinton's office.

    There's another site at truckertotrucker that has info. Is this for real?

    Sorry, I'm new to this site and the trucking world but I heard that all of the trucks are going to stop running on April 3rd. My husband has been hearing talk over the cb from truckers all the way down in Florida...I told him I would look online to see if I could find out any information....is this a legit thing....any info. would be great....thnx

    There are many different dates being thrown around.

    Some truckers in GA were last week.

    I am today, but its pretty easy to do when the company I'm leased to doesn't have any work.

    Some folks say 4/1, others say 4/3. It'll never work if we can't get together and make it happen all at once on enough days to do some good. 1 day here and there isn't going to work.
