I was approached by a fellow Marten driver the other day pushing some software. So I want to know if you have a favorite software, anything that helps with getting loads down the road. Like mapping, logging, or maybe a truck stop directory. Include your experiences. lets get a proper review going cut and paste this form and fill in the blanks. I am sure that someone can improve on my idea but lets start with this...

    Product name:
    Use:
    Performs function as promised:
    cost:
    is it self explanatory?
    ease of use:
    notes:

I think this topic was covered pretty thoroughly in another thread. If you do a search it will probably bring it up.

There's a sticky on MS Streets and Trips which is what I use but it's not truckers software. I already know which roads to avoid, for the most part, and consult a CMV paper map if I have any doubts. Streets and trips has worked well for me.

First, you might want to get a laptop stand if you don't have one. The best part is knowing how far to the next connection and whether the exit is to the right or left. Easy to use, but be careful while driving.
