I got a TSA renewal thing in the mail basically saying I have a few months to renew or remove my H endorsement or my license will be suspended... I went to their renewal page but it's asking me for a KTN (Known Traveler Number) and I don't have that information, might be on some long lost paperwork who knows. Using their KTN Lookup page doesn't give me it either, just says some crap about receiving my payment in 2018...ironic that a system called KTN Lookup, doesn't look up your KTN for you. Is there somewhere I can get my KTN, and is this even the correct way to go about renewing? The site seems to be meant for people using TSA PrePass for flying, not for truckers, is it the same thing?

Is it from TSA or a third party agency. The hazmat endorsement comes from your state DMV. You might want to see who is sending out the letter. I had my hazmat downgraded because I didn't renew it. There was no license suspension involved because I didn't renew it. All the best in your endeavors.

Ktn is your 2 letter abbreviation followed by your driver license #
Dennixx Thanks this. -
Well, my DMV sent me it, but it references "TSA authorization" and directs me specifically to TSA's website to renew. I got my endorsement myself with Schneider reimbursing me, honestly don't remember much but I'm pretty sure I went through TSA's website... it was mostly autopilot since I was just following Schneider's instruction thing for getting my endorsement. Barely even thought about it over the years since I never ended up doing any hazmat stuff.
I tried TT-licensenumber but got:
"KTN is invalid. Please try entering it again. If your KTN does not start with TT, please contact the agency that issued your KTN."
No idea, probably shoulda kept the paperwork lol. -
sorry. Forgot to add STATE. it should be your 2 letter STATE abbreviation followed by the DL#. That's what we use for TSA precheck.Munch75 Thanks this.

No luck either. I guess I'll have to call TSA when I get time, that'll be fun. Thanks though

You should use this link. You are on the airline passenger page.

Kinda confused, do you have to make an appointment and go in again for fingerprinting and stuff? This #### is so badly explained it's silly, typical government program. I've put it off for a while now, dealt with layoff from my job and put it aside but now trying to get it dealt with. I made an appointment for that link above but it doesn't really say if that's what I'm supposed to do... DMV is useless on phone, somehow had no idea what I was talking about, and nobody picking up at the office I made an appointment for.

If you made an appointment for fingerprinting. You would pick the place where you would be getting it done(the nearest location to you). If you never had the hazmat endorsement & you let your permit expire. You have to start the process all over.

I have an active CDL, the issue is my TSA authorization for my HazMat is expiring, and every detail given to me by both DMV and TSA on what I'm supposed to do to rectify that has been vague as hell.
