Raining out the kazoo in Atlanta, GA. I hope my load will be alright :/. Dropped enough of the load at the first stop that I decided to let the plastic protect the rear while I got my front tarp on still but the plastic is ripped.

sounds like an insurance claim is in your future

Ha. Itll be alright. Since u said that I looked it over and I am now thinking that the plastic they draped over the load was a bit excessive. Providing that everything on it is wrapped in plastic. Now... A few more seconds in the rain and I would had a shower.

Plastic won't last long at freeway speeds. Better tarp it.
-
Yeah. Should of, but at the time it didn't seem worth to tarp a foot. I'm shut down 10 miles outside dest until tomorrow. Its 8 feet tall and no way to the top ( I picked it up tarped). It'll have to survive till tomorrow.

Ladders are your friend.

or helicopters

I'll take a helicopter. No room for a ladder what's so ever.

I always carried a 6 ft. step ladder when flatbedding.

I put my big ladder under the trailer. I keep a two foot in my passenger step box.
