DO NOT RECOMEND USING THIS COMPANY EVER!!!!!! I am a broker out of Dallas TX, I pride myself in the fact that I do NOT EVER screw driver's around. However this does cost me money because I pass up a lot of loads that do NOT pay well for the driver. I take a flat 10% brokerage and that is ALL.

Union Group Inc, Adam O, is the man who run's this company the best of my knowledge. I had 16 loads in Delray Florida moving all over the U.S. My supplier would not give me a rate so I could not talk money with the driver's. The supplier pay's well and I have known him a while. I understood that as a trucking company it would be almost impossible for them to hold me a truck without the details. I sent an email to Adam to let him know the situation and to let him know that his Monday truck that would be empty in Delray would have a load that paid well but that I did not have a rate at this moment and that I completely understood if he could not hold his truck. It was Friday when I sent him the email. He sent back for me to not worry about it, that he would take the load, for me to go ahead and pin it down with the supplier and for me to take care of him on the rate. I gave him yet another out at that time just to make sure he was serious, he then told me he was for sure going to handle it for me. So I then let the supplier know I had it covered. Monday Morning he backed out on me and told me that he could not do it because he had already gotten another load for that truck. I reminded him of what he told me and he replied it is what it is.

So like a freaking idiot I called him on a Colorado to San Antonio load three to four day's later because he had sent me his availability saying he had a truck empty in Denver. He was good with the load so we started the paperwork on it. After a few hours of not receiving a signed confirmation I began to worry and called him to see what the problem was. Adam tell's me that he just got caught up on some other issue's and that he would fax it over ASAP and that he was sorry. He then calls back and tells me he cannot cover it on the day that we agreed upon. He sits on the freaking phone and basically calls me a liar and say's that we did not agree on today for pick up but that we agreed on tomarrow for pick up. Instead of arguing I called my supplier and asked if it could load tomarrow instead. Supplier said that would be fine. I then sent a revised confirmation to him to sign. After about an hour I called him and asked what the hold up was on the signed confirmation. He said that he was just about to send it over. After thirty more minute's I called again and he said he was sending it right now. Thirty more minutes pass and my phone rings.

Guess who! Adam O with Union Group letting me know that he was not going to cover the load anymore.:biggrin_25510: That he fired his driver?!!!! Bull-S%%% he found a better paying load. I am so sick and tired of all the lying in this business. Why don't people just tell the dang truth? I have a good load paying a good rate 2.57 a mile plus fuel sur-charge and I call a driver and they tell me they run that same rout all the time for twice the amount?????? No you don't, because I don't just pull numbers out my rear, I actually look and see what it ran for the previous week and the week before that, and look up the fuel and the mile's and call all my carrier's to see if I am good on the rate?????????? lie's lie's lie's . Do not use this company in my opinion, they will drop a load on you before you even know what happened. they have no integrity, no moral's and do not hold good to their word.

    Union Group-
England carrier services is their factoring company
    Adam O is the manager
Salo is one of the dispatchers.

Patti. This is the whole problem in trucking...The CEO RICH PIGS have no ''laws'' in place for them to rob, cheat, steal, con, lie, extort, manipulate and withhold money. They can committ MURDER and blame it on a trucker...These no good rotton dirt bags get a slap on the wrist or a ''talking'' too..

As a ''trucker'' we are held up to an unrealistic perfection. If we do not dot the ''I's'' or cross the ''T's'' we are shuned and tossed in Prison...Everyone else around trucking can be a screw off, liar, cheat and total Dumb ####.But the driver better be a ''good boy'' or ELSE...

It's a very sick twisted broken system for the drivers of today.Again, when are drivers going to form are own UNION...?

When are the drivers going to wake up and grow a set...?

Finally, the other side of the story. Mr bailey7158 - concerning the load out of Florida. You said to me personally that you would have a load out of Florida for us Monday morning. I agreed to hold the truck. When you still didn't have a load for us at 10:00am MST, noon in Florida, I told you I had to move the truck. Was I supposed to just TRUST you and hope that you would find us a load sometime that day - even after you had already faulted on your original part of the agreement. We out of faith held the truck for you for 3 days and 5 long hours (since Friday) and you had NOTHING by noon. Enough is enough - please keep the Union Group name, Salo's name, and my name out of your mouth and your thoughts. Next time you post come clean with the whole story.

The action or crime of making a false spoken statement damaging to a person's reputation.

I through the definition of slander out there for you Mr bailey7158 just in case that word wasn't a part of your vocabulary. We are NOT perfect, we will fall off loads from time to time, our trucks will break down, our drivers will get sick - hours of service will get in the way. We do our best to take the freight from point A to point B and would never take a load to take a load without every intention of making OTD. Hours of service rules will be changing again in July which is right around the corner....It MAY be mandatory for drivers to include two consecutive 1:00 to 5:00am breaks within their 34 hour reset - as if it wasn't hard enough for a driver to make money as it was. There are a lot of good brokers out there and I respect them and thank them for trusting us with their freight. On the other hand, there are some lying cheating manipulating brokers that will tell you what you want to hear so you can pick up their load that is already 2 days late...to those brokers - the trucking industry would be better off without you. Mr bailey7158 - if the shoe fits "Wear it!"
