Did you take the job? It’s a good company but, that location is union and the current contract isn’t competitive pay wise.

 

i dunno how good they are...i applied to them long before i retired, and back then, i regretted filling out the application..

glad it didn't work out for me

Univar Solutions will pay $800,000 for alleged safety violations in three states including Rhode Island.

What did the EPA find when it inspected Univar Solutions?
Earlier this month, the Environmental Protection Agency announced that Univar would pay $800,000 in a federal settlement of its handling of chemicals at facilities in Providence, Pennsylvania and Colorado.

The EPA said inspections of the facilities from 2016 to 2019 uncovered failures "to comply with industry standards of care ... for hazardous and/or regulated chemicals such as anhydrous ammonia, aqueous ammonia ... chlorine and formaldehyde."

Univar Solutions EPA fine has Providence council concerned over ProvPort tax deal.

Univar is one of my vendors, and we've had a handful of drivers over the years. They all liked their jobs and seemed well compensated.

 

Years ago Me and Univar driver would be loading/unloading at Invista chemical together he always said it was really good paying, but you had to be on top of everything. (Hazmat paperwork, logs, DVIR's, tractor and trailer maintenance).
