That was probably me sitting there frustrated after getting bombed with truck after truck shooting in.

Its like you let 1 car in on a merge.. and the 10 behind him think oh he's a trucker... your going to let the whole bunch in.

I come to a stop or trurn and see a truck coming to the turn point before me... I slow or stop to allow that driver all the room he needs to get in. I dont think its too much to expect the same courtesy in return. But like you said.. we have a new breed of young drivers out here who honestly dont know and for the most part they drive a semi with the same mindset that they drive their personal vehicle at home with. Children teaching children each other's bad habits.

    This ^^^^^^^^^

This is a peeve of mine. If I move over to let a truck or wheeler in... then they just run beside me.. either on their limiter or for what ever reason. Puff puff pass jerk. Show me the same courtesy and let me back over.

4 wheelers are really bad about this. I hate slowing down to have them slow down with me.. or to shoot up to 75 - 80 mph to get back in the right lane only to get a middle finger salute as they pass me on the left. Where did they expect I was going to go? I'm certainly not wanting to stay out in the left lane with a 4 wheeler in my blind spot or a mega driver who is ignorant enough to stay there even after my signal to get back over has been on for almost 1/2 mi.

Even if you push the turn signal forward?

Pete and Kw share this feature on trucks with daytime running lamps. I've never driven any others with it.. so I dont know how they are.

Heck.. toon me 8 months before I discovered it. Pushing forward would interupt the headlights for about 3 seconds. Then they came back on. Even so... I refused to flash my highbeams at anyone. I would shut my marker lights off and back on instead if someone really needed a clue to get back over.

Rule: 00001, don't drive like your in a NASCAR race in ice and snow, after you have already seen 20 accidents in 10 miles....speed is not your friend.

I do, anymore (got bored going with the flow, which was them trying to drag race me). Now it's a challenge to fall back enough to keep them at the end of my 500 foot pole (or they can merge at half the speed limit behind me if they like). The problem is they won't speed up until the end of the onramp, no matter how long it is, so I'll match their speed and downshift leading up to that, which is like driving through a school zone (silly kids).

Id like to see some of the drivers learn how to correctly adjust headlights. Ip in the eyes of oncoming traffic because you can see better is not adjusted correctly.

I disabled the daytime running lamps. Now I can turn my lights on and off as needed. find the fuse panel and pull the fuse labeled daytime running lamp. Another thing is driver need to turn off head lights and leave park lights on when waiting in line at night or early morning. Don't blind the guy in front of you

If it's that easy, I'm going to look at doing it with this International ProStar.

At truck stops don't go waking up legally parked truckers, cause you can't get in your parking spot.
