    They make me wear a uniform and i have to drive 9 hours a day, that's 45 hours a week... :(

    theres alot to be said about being home every night

    it would take quite a bit of money for me to go OTR...simply because id rather find a job at a warehouse or megalo mart before id live in a truck

    I just wanted to make/see ups in the "bad trucking company" section for once in the history of the world, for giggles. You donkeys got it made. I am still working up my EXP to even attempt an app at them (without getting forced dock work). I would swim in a bubbling tub of sewage and give up my left almond to get in there.

    we hire drivers without experience alot more than you would think

    i see youre in ohio......theres terminals in toledo, dayton, colombus, mansfield, cincinnatti, akron, cleveland, and maybe more....those are the only ones i know

    Yeah I live 5 minutes from the Toledo terminal on 80. My girlfriend of 3 years dad has worked for them for decades and was a main reason I got the idea to go into trucking, have a lot of respect for the guy. I know I could have lobbed up a hail mary and put an APP in but I am only 4 months away from having 2 years of OTR so I figure I'll apply then.

    in 4 months its going to be november which is right before freight drops off big time......i would apply ASAP, it is hiring season
