Now, now...recruiters don't lie. They supply the information they were given to complete their jobs. Just because the dream they offered has absolutely no resemblance to the nightmare reality you are now undergoing is never the recruiter's fault.

And all politicians are completely honest, too:biggrin_25523:

Like the one person said their team drivers do ok from what I've read on here

Butt you gotta take it for what it is and if you have the money an can afford it

Jump ship after you get something lined up or just flat out quit if you can affors it

But remember trucking is like no other its like working for the mobb with the DAC REPORTS

THEY USE IT AS A WEAPON TOO HURT DRIVERS PERIOD.

Im amazed how companies like this stay in business. $387 for 6 days of work and I'd bet drivers are filing out applications right now. I'd bet drivers are hoping they qualify. I'd bet drivers are waiting in line for their physicals. I'd bet drivers are studying the new rules for 2012. I'd bet drivers are anxiously waiting for the recruiters to call them back. I'd bet drivers are sweeping their trailer out. I'd bet drivers are freezing at night worrying about the fuel bonus they never see. The sad thing is. If he quits and works at another outfit like this (Werner, Jb, Knight, Roel etc) it will be the same story in another truck.

He plans to stay for 6 months, but we can't pay the bills with him only making $350 a week. I think his training pay was more!!!! I keep telling him he should quit and go work at Target. I think he would make more and be home every night.

That's why they have 100% turnover . You see the mentality of wannabes here . "Any job is better than no job " . "All it takes is a positive attitude "

We are experiencing the same problem with Schneider. My husband was making more on training pay than he is making now. He hasnt been home in almost 3 weeks now even though he's regional and he spends more time sitting and waiting than turning those wheels. Even my kid has asked why doesnt he just work at the store instead of taking things to the store so he can come home at night. After a massive fit throwing last night he will be coming home briefly tomorrow. He may be taking his Schneider truck back to Schneider. Hell even waitressing pays more than this!
