I’m writing this to help other truck drivers. This is my second year as a truck driver, and I already have enough experience, especially with Chicago-based companies, many of them run by people from Eastern Europe.
My experience is with US Freight Lines Inc.
They have made me drive up to 24 hours straight, and I went almost two months without proper rest. I’ve been yelled at, disrespected, and treated horribly just for asking for what is fair and legal. Will you make money? Yes.But if you get caught by DOT or have a problem, it will be YOUR fault, not theirs. They protect themselves by saying you did it on your own. They will push you to run overweight — DO NOT DO IT. It won’t be “just 600 extra pounds”; it will be much more, and again, the ticket will be yours.
They also delete negative reviews from their website (of course), and they will take money from you.
The only places where they behave differently are Washington and Oregon, because they know the laws there will destroy them if they try anything.
There are no American drivers working for them, only Ukrainians and Latinos — and everyone knows why: because the working conditions are terrible.
If you decide to work for them, you must set very clear limits and demand respect, or they will run you into the ground.

Best of luck to you. I checked out when you said " They have made me drive up to 24 hours straight, and I went almost two months without proper rest."
GreenPete359 and Lonesome Thank this. -
They were right about one thing. I don't care what kind of pressure or coercion they put on you. If you run like you said and get caught by the DOT it most definitely IS YOUR FAULT!TurkeyCreekJackJohnson, GreenPete359 and Lonesome Thank this.
