US Xpress app

    hi everyone i have a week left of cdl school

    so i put my app in at us xpress over the internet i got assined a recruiter and she called my with in a couple hours after she got assined to me,and she said everything looks good and she wants me to fax her a paper app. then i hope to be in orientation in the next 2 weeks .

    questions i when become a company will they route me home with a load so i can put my stuff in the truck.

    Grats on the school. Put pre-hires are a dime-a-dozen. The real process of you getting hired doesn't start until you are at orientation.

    As far as home time... Ya.... Umm... What does home look like again?! :) just kidding, but yes, they will route you home. If you have a load or not, will be up to what is available to your dispatcher.

    Don't count on being hired until they give you your fuel card....then you will know for sure.

    As for getting you home....don't count on that, either. Under the old system you had to run 1-2 weeks before going home....don't know how it's going to work with new system of trainees teaming up after their 120 hours.

    Just tell your dispatcher you'd like to do a quick run by the house to pick up some stuff. You live in an easy area to get to.
