Why am I getting this message? I am on the same computer & the same wifi network as I was on last night after the forums came back on line. I made some posts & then started getting the message, so I left. Then again this morning the same thing. I'll read a thread then decide to move to the next thread... I get the error message. Then a few minutes later the page loads as normal... Then when I move to another thread, I get the error message.

Sorry for the problems, everything seems to be fine on our side of things, but I'll look into it. Please clear your cookies, restart your computer, and let me know if that fixes the issue.
If anyone else has similar issues, please report them here.Mastertech Thanks this. -
In addition to clearing cookies, please also clear your cache (may be called 'files,' depending on your web browser). Thanks, baack.
Baack Thanks this. -
I ate all my cookies & donuts (sorry Mr. DOT man) I also cleared my private data. As much as I didn't want to close my browser & reboot my computer (had the load board up... I know just as soon as I closed it, that $5 per mile load would appear!....) I did anyhow.
If it helps, I use firefox & IE... Mostly firefox. I'll see if I continue getting the message & keep you updated. -
I'm getting the message off an on for the last day also.
It's not a user side issue so please don't ask people to jump through hoops clearing cookies, cache etc. It's not a dns issue either as pinging thetruckersreport.com results in the same IP whether I am getting the message or whether the site is coming up normally.
edit- my apologies, it just happened again and what I said is wrong as I am now getting different ip when pinging. I am connected at a flying j and even though my public ip doesn't change and the listed dns servers didn't change it resolved to a different ip. Definately not a user issue though, probably something with the way the J caches but like I said, same dns servers listed even though the resolving ip is different.Last edited: Aug 17, 2009

I'm still getting it. In both Mozilla & Explorer. I believe there is a glitch somewhere in the upgrade & that is why I posted this thread to let the bossmen know if they didn't know already.
I went to post this at 12:16 p.m. eastern time & got the message once again. I will continue to try to post it & we'll see how long it takes.....Last edited: Aug 17, 2009

Another thing it is doing when I get the error is shows me that I have 2 PM's. The same 2 PM's that I got on Saturday & read on Saturday.

I just got the same thing using DAD's Truckstop free wifi...but plugged in my ATT stick, and now it's OK, or at least normal. Is this an issue with my laptop, or an issue with the homebase of Truckers forum? I am not computer literate, I know how to turn it on, browse, and play solitaire...my teenager geek is 700 miles away...need help please!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has experienced it. I was at the flying j every time it happened to me. I finally got tired of it & decided to get closer to where I load in the morning. I'm now running off from the T/A's wi-fi & haven't had a issue..... yet

Let me know when you reboot and I will keep out an eye for you on that 5 buck a mile run....
