Verizon wireless sucks !

    Ok after being a Verizon customer for 20 years this is how I'm treated. I missed last months payment my bad $99 . And was skiing around the Canadian border. Quite a few roaming charges, no problem.

    The next monthly bill is not even at the house yet. And this afternoon I get a call saying as of the 2nd I was $99 overdue. 13 days .........

    Then they say unless I make a payment over the phone right now my service might be discontinued . I told them to do what ever they wanted to. That I can and will have a new phone carrier by dinner time and hung up.

    I have a Verizon store 1 mile from my house , and went there and payed the bill...lol
    My beef was the tone and attitude of the phone call. 99$ 14 days out get a life Verizon !

    I hate multi national corporations .!!!

    And I pay my bills ........... Do they??????

    Verizon tried to leave me up a creek without a paddle after being a customer for ten years I switched to sprint have not had any issues with their service .

    They'll tell you that's why they have "auto-draft" and "auto-pay". They have reasons for doing this (being quick to disconnect) and believe it or not, it's to protect the customer. Any other carrier would have done the same thing. That said, I never understood why they don't bother to make a "phone call" beings how THEY ARE IN THE PHONE COMMUNICATION BUSINESS!!!

    I do get an automated call when I for get to pay. Its says I have 24hrs to contact them or my service may be disrupted. It doesn't bother me a bit

    I miss US Cellular, maybe I'll switch back now that I don't live on the edge of a service area. However with my employer discount it's kind the most affordable option.

    I guess the OP decided to ignore the message then and there is not a lot you can do to correct that behavior.
