I was just issued a new truck by a guy I just started running for. The A/C in this thing is HORRIBLE.
It blows well up front but in the sleep the vents blow with the force of a 2 yr old when compared to a hurricane.
Can anyone give me some tips on how to stay cool?
Very BAD A/C

Make model year of truck?

I've got an 06 Columbia that had the same problem. Under the bunk on the passenger side there is the blower motor for the AC and heater. There are 2 boxes. The one farthest from the wall, towards the bottom has a filter that comes out. Check to see if its full of junk if so and it can't be blown out get some filter media from Lowe's and cut your own for $3. Works like a champ now. GL
shriner75 Thanks this. -
I second this notion. My 04 Columbia had almost no airflow from the sleeper vents and the dash when in recirculation mode. It was due to clogged filters. Now I get frozen out of the truck!

Knowing the year and make of the truck would really help...
Turn the bunk AC on high and lift the bed up.You should be able to hear the fan running and find the filter.
It could be the fan motor has taken a dump....Not that hard to replace.
I change my filters at every service. One under the bunk and one under the hood.
About 25 bucks for 2 filters and well worth it to have clean air in the cab.
