    Towing companies will sometimes drop the drive shaft when there's a trailer attached, but they don't normally mess with the carrier bearing. But glad you replaced yours, they do need replaced sometimes

    They drop my driveshaft, and they’ll be buying Me a new set of straps and bolts. Along with labor to install.

    They told me they dropped the drive line. I wasn't happy but nothing i could do. Probably wrong on my guess but still grasping at straws. Already replaced all brake hardware all around and steer wheel bearings at that time with no effect. First tires were top line Micheline highway tires. Ran perfect wear until vibration started then the weird wear appeared. Normally i follow the recommendation for pressure from tire manufacturer for Max estimated load. Tire shop set the new ones at 88, was running 105 on the last set. I've tried chasing pressure all over and made no difference either. Motor mounts appear fine, nothing to cause a man to want to change those yet, not the kind of thing to run around changing without some good indication like King pins right.

    I’ve been told, after having drive shaft work done, to install it clocked in the same location. I said I hadn’t marked it. Was told if it vibrates, remove and re install 180 degrees, ( the only other way it can go).

    Have posted before lengthy about Tru~balance centering pins which I use. In addition I also use the Counteract balancing beads. Having a truly centered brake drum and wheels will work wonders!!

    Google “tru balance”.
    There is a poor mans way of doing it too, but the above product is the best.

    Am following this thread, as it has me intrigued. To clarify, the vibration did not show up until after the rig was towed, correct?

    Just prior to the rig being towed, did you do any work to it and not drive it afterward?

    After it was towed did you drive it, before doing any work to it, and the vibration was there?

    Also, is the vibration there all the time, or only at certain highway speeds?
