    Hello owner operators.
I used to be an o/o and trying to get back.
    (I’m a driver now)
I have a company in Florida and about to apply for my authority. Now I know insurance will be crazy and only with progressive and I’m trying to think if a different state branch will work for me as I’d like to register and insure my truck elsewhere. Main address will still be my home for the officer to visit whenever they decide for first inspection of the new entry.
If anyone knows anything about this please share your knowledge.
    Thank you.
A pic of my too long waiting 780.

I've had such experience. It's doable, however in case of accident if your truck were garaged in different zip where it actually suppose to be, you'll be in trouble and that will count as insurance fraud.

Why it’s an insurance fraud? Main address is still there, this new address is just a new branch opened.

Insurance will ask you where truck is garaged when not in use (zip code). They don't care much about branches.

    brian991219 and Davidsti1 Thank this.

1 truck operation with 2 business office locations. I would guess that the broker is gonna ask more questions.

Broker won't see any other address then one, that's listed in safer (which should be the same as on insurance). Basically those should be main address. IRP should be secondary "branch" or whatever you wanna call it.
