Volvo vnl heating and cooling problem...

Hello everyone, I have a 2005 400 Volvo vnl, This truck has very weird problem for almost a year now. Heating and cooling stops working when driving down the road. And the only thing I have to do to make it work again its to turn truck off and on again, Its really annoying, some times I have to drive for miles before finding a safe place to park to do that and on this cold weather not fun. I have already replaced control module on dash, blower fan, filters and they took all dash board apart and cleaned everything and still has the same problem and my mechanic does not know what could be the problem, and also bunk heather does not work everything blows but no heating or cooling.
please any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance....
