Volvo vs Cummins

Blah, for both

 

i sure hope Volvo motors run better than Cummins

Volvo is proprietary.

Mechanics and the tools are limited.

Cummins is notorious for front cover oil leaks. And is picky about the oil used in em. The wrong oil makes the gaskets leak, oil consumption high and the motor sound like a tank.

The older motors liked mobil. The last one I drove hated Mobil. Preferred delo instead. Whatever the sticker on the left frame says. That's what it likes. Delo is harder to find though. speciallyat Walmart where it's half the price of truckstop.

 

Neither, these here days, I'd go with Detroit.
