High teens low twenties. Local no-touch is probably the lowest paying class A work that exists.
OldeSkool Thanks this. -
Well pulling intermodal for some of the larger carriers could pay upwards of 1 K a week for New drivers. The reason I mentioned No touch not All drivers have The same physical Ability

Cowan, Ryder, MTS, etc. are all in the 60-70k range where I live for super basic no-touch, day cab runs

Wages are different in different regions of the country. Where are you?
To get a job with most companies, you'll need at least one year experience and two years for most good companies. Do you have any verifiable driving experience? -
Your gender doesn't matter to me, but you started the sentence using the pronoun "his" then later switched to using "his or her " by the end. Are you currently transitioning? I believe in equal wages for the both of you... whomever you decide to be

Factual. I had a guy try to coerce me into accepting two dollars less than he initially promised during the driving test. I chose not to work there

For a new driver fresh out of CDL school and running local no-touch freight, a realistic starting wage is usually around $20 to $25 an hour. That works out to roughly $1,000 to $1,300 a week if you’re working full time. Some areas or companies might pay a bit more, especially if demand is high.
The nice thing about no-touch local runs is you get steady hours without having to handle freight yourself, so it’s a good way to get experience, build your record, and then move up to higher-paying routes if you want. Expect pay to grow fairly quickly as you gain experience and a clean record.stacks Thanks this. -
None yet I was thinking of paying through CDL school as I have over 20 years experience outside the USA , but I have drove in the USA as I worked In western Canada for 18 months for a reefer outfit and my region was the lower USA primary hauling Beef loads out of Alberta
