Walmart Drivers need to quit now

Have never seen a trailer pulling a trailer must be an interesting sight.

 

Except Swift pays less than half what Walmart does even under the new pay scale. If they make half

 

Can't be that good anymore.
First time ever, the other day I heard on the radio a wamart advertisement for a hiring event in Indy.
Not once have I ever heard that before.

 

They’ve been doing that for a short while now. They’re desperate for drivers, especially in Gas City Indiana. We’re told they want to hire 50 private fleet drivers for that DC.

 

Depends on what you consider good?

70-80k, 5 weeks paid off in first year.

Is there any trucking companies not hiring right now? 4% unemployment rate and less than ideal job conditions for most younger workforce eligible people creates a shortfall.

To say a company can't be great because they need drivers in a tight market is silly.

Granted walmart created much of this mess themselves, but the fat needed to be trimmed in spots for sure.

 

very hard to find QUALIFIED drivers right now ... been wanting to add truck for 2 months and I get a few calls but not enough experience or poor driving record ,, or changing jobs monthly

 

They kick usx out?

 

That seems to be a problem not only Walmart but industry and country wide...finding a worker is easy, finding a dependable one seems to be the major problem these days anymore..

 

Cut them back severely.

 

Based on how i saw one of their drivers talk to AP at the gate one night..im surprised they're even still there..
