Want to avoid getting burned by a lease-purchase agreement?

    I agree, I just meant if you’re already convinced that you’re gonna lease, at least be smart about it. But yes 99% of leases are junk.

    Lease purchase is a modern day form of indentured slave.
    Wouldn’t suggest it.

    I know not to do it and I do not plan on it so please only reply with a direct answer to my question. I'm new CDL A and didn't go to trucking school, so very green when it comes to trucking... My question is how much does a typical trucker make during the lease part of the lease-purchase program?

    Depends on whether or not you know to run a business ... If you do, you should be able to clear $55k to $60k a year, working 40 to 42 weeks a year.

    If you don't, you'll go broke and blame the company for screwing you over.

    TEL Lease Payment: $ 665
    TEL Security Deposit: $ 125 for 12 weeks.
    TEL Admin Fee: $ 12.00
    TEL Maintenance Escrow: $ 180 per week
    ATBS: $20.17

    Notes: This is a Freightliner $1500 security deposit.

    TEL contract at Star Transportation Echo account. Now add in x amount of miles and deduct fuel and everything above.
