I need to get some paint for my motor and I am having a hard time finding it on the web I am not that computer capable. I am looking for Cat yellow, and I see there are two possible colors old caterpillar or new caterpillar? I have an old 3406b motor so I guess if there is a choice I need old caterpillar. I figure a gallon will cover the two trucks, I found a couple sites but I need stuff that I can just brush on I am not going to shoot it. I have painted the motors before with a brush and they come out very nice b/c once the motor gets hot and I fade the paint in with a spray can they come out very nice.
If anyone has any websites it would help.

the two colors are cat white (old) and cat yellow (new). any cat shop would have it in spray or liquid form.

I always bought my Cat yellow at the Great Dane Trailer dealership in Indianapolis, they had it in the big spray cans, really good paint and it matched perfectly. If I remember right they had Detroit green also. I always bought the white spray paint and gray spray paint for the trailer rims and steel frame work on the trailers there, they have the best white and gray spray paint that money can buy, it has a lot of pigment in it and it covers really well, and it will maintain a shine for a long long time, I remember that the gray was called gloss chrome gray, and they had the white in gloss or flat, but the white gloss is out of this world. That is how I found the Cat yellow there, after I had used the white and gray for a few years, I noticed that they had the cat yellow and thought I would give it a try, and it was good paint also. I got to the point that I bought all my spray paint there, they also had black in flat and gloss as well. If Indy had it I would say that all the Great Dane dealerships have it in stock, if not they can get it in a day or so. I always bought a case at a time and it was reasonably priced that way for the amount and quality of paint that you would get.
