In my quest to find a company that trains and has a northast regional division I bit the bullet and sent my application in to Schneider.

I only had 2 carriers in mind - Big Pumkin and USA Truck.

Just wanted to share, and as always comments are welcomed!

Nothing wrong with Schneider. They have good training compared to many of the other big boys. I think 15 hour days is a bit much for newbies but they are trying to weed out people that they don't think will make it. Go there and learn all they will let you. They don't pay as much as some others, but a year with them will look just fine on your record if you decide to move on. Good luck and stay safe.:biggrin_25525:

with Schneider I was told it's a 2yr commitment now or $5k for the Schooling. For me the 1yr (or $3k) seemed long enough.

Schneider is out of Carlisle,PA for their Eastern hub. They have a lot in Cateret,NJ also. =not really the strongest N.E. Presence. Atlanta+Charlotte,Seville + Columbus Ohio also.

I would try their bulk division for getting hired right now. Maybe intermodal.
