Well I finally took the plunge into becoming a multi truck owner. I have ordered a 2015 Fitzgerald Glider. I ordered the Columbia with the mid roof sleeper. It has the 12.7 liter series 60 in it with a 10 speed and 3.58 rears. It should be ready within 3-4 weeks. If mpg's are good and all goes well I plan on getting another one in June. I got the last mid roof they had in stock and they have another shipment coming in June. Was actually looking at getting myself one of their 389s but decided to go this direction and continue driving my 99-379 and will be putting a driver in this truck.
Have been contemplating adding trucks for a couple of years and finally just said lets go for it. I have run the numbers hundreds of times and would just never pull the trigger. Was very comfortable just running my old paid for truck and not having any headaches and staying in a comfortable place. Decided it was time to step it up. I guess I need a new challenge. Now I have to find another trailer. I already have 2 flatbeds but for what we do it has been very beneficial having a spare. So would like to get another one. I love the 2014 53' all aluminum Mac that I bought last year but may get another combo just because of the cost savings. Now to find a good driver. At least I have a few weeks to find one and have a handful of apps to sort through.
Went and done it

Those Fitzgerald gliders look sharp. They seem to do a good job slapping them together.

This I do realize. My brother is up to 15 trucks. I am leased on to him. When I started a few years ago with him he only had 5 trucks and a handful of o/o . Now he has the 15 and about 14 o/os. The good thing is we have good contracts so once he finds a good driver they normally stick around for a long time. He has 3 that have been here over 10 years so if I can find someone I think they will stick around.123456 and "semi" retired Thank this. -
Make sure you get the Clarke Detroit, our fitz salesmen advised against their "in house" reman Detroit when we ordered ours last year. The 389 in my avitar is from Fitzgerald, they did an excellent 5star job with the truck, I get compliments nearly every day!

The build order has already been put in and I have never heard or knew there was a difference. (And just when you thought you did all your research. Lol) The accessories man is supposed to call Monday. I will definitely be asking about this. Thanks.

I've heard the same thing about their in house motor. Nice truck BTW.
