Went for my DOT Physical

    Wow was that ever a thorough physical. I was there for over an hour. Good thing that I am in shape as I had to jog, do sit ups, among other things. I even found out that I am considered overweight due to my BMI (body mass index). The nurse told me she figured it was a bunch of anorexic ppl who made up that scale. I have had several dot physicals over the past 8 years, but this one took the longest and like I said was very thorough. :biggrin_2556:

    I did a recert yesterday...took about 30 minutes. I'm good to go until 5/21/2012.

    If mine takes 30 minutes it cause I waited for the doctor 15. I figured the only difference between men and women physicals would be the fondling part, everything else should be the same?

    I figure that I have been through about 15 DOT physicals by now, and it amazes me how every one of them has been completely different.

    Some have been simple easy and over in about five minutes. But, I have also been through some requiring me to run a treadmill, do jumping jacks, full hearing test with all the tones, and one even sent off my blood to be tested before they would sign off on it.

    Dam, I have never heard of doing sit-ups for a dot physical. was this a "company" physical? I have had to walk up and down the mini staircase they had but never situps.
