Went to bed with 1/4 fuel woke up empty

My gauge only goes to 3/4 when clear full.When the low fuel light comes on I still have 60 gallons in the tanks..

Couple of companies I worked at, briefly, had us only filling up ONE TANK and we ran Equal Twin Tanks at 125 -150 gallons.

I have a little note book that has total depth and then stopped every 100 miles to caculate how far it went down over 700 miles (max range per day) its not 100% accurate but close enough that if im ever in doubt only takes a second to dip.

 

You got to prime it. It happened to me before. I filled the fuel water separator(full) & primed it and watched level go down to make sure I got the air out of the line.

Can you post a picture of your fuel filters, should be on drivers side, so we know what system you have and can maybe describe more accurately what you need to do to get it going. Not close up, from front to back of engine basicly
