I'm a pretty thin guy was just wondering about the western express flatbed orientation. I heard you have to lift a tarp onto the back of a 6 foot trailer to get hired. Are these tarps easier to lift than a 100 lbs dumbbell? I know the weight distribution would be different but how would lifting a tarp be compared to lifting a metal dumbell? I'm thinking a little easier because a solid metal weight is not forgiving at all. I'm sure the tarps aren't either. How much do western express tarps weigh?

Depends on which type of tarp... 4 ft or 8 ft drops? 8 ft drop lumber tarps can weigh 100 lbs pretty easily... you have to "get under it" and use your legs to get it up on your shoulder.

I can do it pretty easy... but i guess not everyone can do it
