Got a warning ticket in Arkansas for a dirty engine one splat of oil were I checked my oil at.Laughed till he gave me the warning told me to go wash it.
But as op said I agree seen on truck the other day had to use chocks to slide his tandems and a coat hanger as an antenna really scary.

LoL @ Red. Yeah I need to tidy up the baling wire on mine. Actually I do have some baling wire keeping some of the fairings from flopping in the wind so i'm one to talk lol. I'm just complaining mostly because the difficulty of pulling a rate these days. My numbers are trending OK but it's a helluva lot harder to find the good stuff any more. Even been accepting runs that normally I wouldn't.
I hear others whining a lot worse so I should be thankful. I used to think I had good business relationships but now I know better. It will always be a game of get as much as you can while you can. The other side plays by the same rules. Sadly it seems the people that want relationships on steady repeat business only want to pay rates that are barely break even if that. And they are paying the same even when other people's rates are much better. Consistently low... But hey I got a truck so that's just what I have to deal with right?RedForeman Thanks this. -
It seems like every time you put a good run together, one of three things happen
1. someone comes along and undercuts
2. shipper or receiver goes bankrupt
3. shipper or receiver moves out of the country. -
At first I wanted to laugh at the trucks held together with duct tape and glue, yet I have some duct tape on my grill....
mhyn, RedForeman and unloader Thank this. -

Hey I've got soup cans for headlight buckets!
Had to cut the back off when I put in HIDs and a certain brand of soup makes the perfect size can to close it off. -
Guess thats why MN and WI to CA is crap. Every load is paying $1-$1.25/mile
-and they are getting covered.
