2000 fld 120 3406e 2ws cat, truck dies while driving or idling randomely, gauges and lights stay on except speedometer and tachometer,
If im idling i dont have to cycle the key,i just push the start button and if fires right back up.
While driving and in gear it dies for a couple seconds and it starts again.
No codes,no warning lights, full of coolant, less than a year starter and ignition relay.
Dont mind spending money to fix it just need to know where to look.
    Any help is aporeciated

Battery start there. Then chase down wires and grounds.

Look at wires leading from the crank and cam sensors care/fully and follow them looking for rub raw spots between wires and them rubbing on any steel?

    77fib77 Thanks this.

Try checking wiring on the ignition ...had same issue , truck was dying for no reason ( under load , empty , idling )

If everything else stays powered up I would suspect an engine ECM power or ground wire issue.

Pull the lid off of your battery box and check very closely the connections at the 15 amp fuse going to your ECM. Maybe some corrosion in there or loose and a poor connection? I dunno, just a guess on something to check and rule out.

    77fib77 and AModelCat Thank this.
