Just roll at night time and don't speed to attract attention.

What part of OK to where in TX, lots of little two lanes to get around the scales, not likely anybody's going go pull you over and put the portables out for you.

Is something extra on your deck small enough to fit a Roll back? Maybe a couple hundred to follow you home like a pet?

I would go with it, most of the time if you are just over on an axle and not over gross they want bother you. Just looked at that route on the truckers path app and it shows the scales to all be closed, pretty neat app if you don’t have it lots of useful info. I was in tx, ok last week and every scale I passed was locked up with this virus going on seems to be a lot more closed than open.

Why not get over weight permits? Pretty sure you can do it all online.

Most states don't permit divisible loads for overweight. Some exemptions, usually agriculture related.

TX doesn’t have many scales, just lots of roadside inspections. Just get out of OK & you’ll probably be alright.

Don't attract unnecessary attention to yourself, don't act guilty and don't look guilty. Make sure your load is secure, your rig is right and for gods sake, don't haul ### like a scared rabbit! Run it at night and you'll be fine. You can often get away with murder as long as you dont look, smell or act like a murderer. 10-4.
