I purchased a used Schnieder truck a there is a cable coming out from under the passenger side dash area. It's coiled and looks to have a CAT 5 connector on the end. I'm assuming that was for the Qualcomm but was wondering if it hooks right up to the ecm and I can hook up a Scanguage right to it or if I should just follow it to the end and disconnect it. Thanks

It's tied into the ecm and electrical system.

I'd take it out provided you don't use a qualcomm.

The coiled cable hooks to the display unit of the Qualcomm. Will not work for the Scan Gauge.
