I can't quite see the inside thread but it looks worn. Does the steering wheel shake or do you fight with it going down the road ?

Do you feel a shake in the seat going down the road ?

It was shaking before, then I balanced the tires and put centramatics - now does not shake but still eating the tires. The mileage is 80 000. Tire make othzu, it says made in Japan, but could be some bad quality.

    I agree, kingpin

After replacing the kingpin and steer tire, I would get a 3- axle alignment. imo

I have checked the king pins, only the driver side has a very small play, other side is good, but still eating both front tires?

I had the same problem last year on freight shaker I was driving. Company put new steers on it and ate them within a month. Replaced the kingpins and steer tires, three axle alignment. Truck drove like it was brand new and fixed the problem. :)

If your tires were already like that before you balanced them or did any work to the truck they will still continue to wear like that. They have already established a wear pattern and only way to change that pattern is to start back over with new tires and make sure everything else is up to par before putting any mileage on the new tires.

Your rears are out of alignment and pushing the steers sideways when you're going down the road. I've seen it a million times.
