What issues may I have?

I got my cdl the end of January. I was looking for a driving job but before I started applying I was injured at my current job and needed shoulder surgery.

It should be fine soon but im looking at about September before I completely cleared and can start looking for a job.

My question is will I have a problem finding a job with that long between school and finding a job?

I'm in California.

 

I'm in tulare. Central ca.
My school did say they would let me do a refresher for free.

I'm looking to go regional or otr.

I actually had my license from 2003 to 2010. Had kids in 09 and started a differnt career but let my cdl go when I moved to California.

I'm in my mid 40s now house is paid off and wife's about ready to retire so looking at a new life stage.

Do you know what they would require for a refresher in the amount of hours?

Also I have no restrictions but no endorsements.

I was thinking of taking the writen test to get some. I had them all last time but I don't wanna do doubles anymore so just thinking of getting my tanker and hazmat.

Also ik know the way you get hazmat has changed a bit. I belive you have to take an online class and then apply? Any resource on the proper way to do that now?

I drove before elds and automatics so I got learn some things. I also did my school with a manual so I've never even been in an auto truck

I was kinda looking at Knight. They have a terminal in my city.

I guess I'm kinda lucky in a way that since the house is paid off and my wife works that the money isn't a huge issue for now.

I'll probably just go with a mega since it seems easier to get started.
